US officials told the Washington Post that detective satellites have observed continuous activity on a site that has produced ballistic missiles.

Reuters quoted an official as saying that it is not clear how far the work has gone.

Donald Trump met Kim Jong-en of North Korea in June in Singapore.

After the first meeting between the leaders of the two countries, the two men promised to work towards the atomization. Later Mr. Trump said that North Korea was no longer a nuclear threat.

But Mr. Kim was criticized at home to make concessions without securing any firm commitment from Mr Kim to end nuclear and missile programs.

What does the latest report say?
On Monday, the Washington Post newspaper citing officials said that the North Korean capital is building one or two new liquid-fueled intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) at Sanumdong facility near Pyongyang.

This factory is known for producing Havasang-15, which is the first North Korean ICBM to reach the United States.

However, a US official told the news agency Reuters that a liquid fuel ICBM has "not created a threat that would be a solid fuel as they take so long for fuel".

Reuters also said that satellite imaging showed vehicles to go inside and outside the facility, but there was no limit on the construction of any missile.

What are the experts saying about this?
Satellite imagery of the Sundedong facility reveals that the site is "active", a nuclear expert Jeffrey Lewis told the Washington Post at Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS).

Mr. Lewis said, "[feature] is not dead from any part of the imagination." "We see shipping containers and vehicles coming and going, this is a facility where they make ICBM and space-launch vehicles."
