Trump says ready to meet Iran's Rouhani

Donald Trump offered to meet Iranian leaders with "pre-condition" and "whenever".

The US president told reporters in the White House, "I'll meet someone. I believe in meetings."

Mr. Trump's settlement approach came when he and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani did trade in hostile warnings at the beginning of this month.

In May, the US left a settlement which in return for lifting international sanctions prevented Iran's nuclear activities.

Despite objections from the UK, France, China, Russia and Germany, Washington is preparing to ban Tehran within days, which also signed the 2015 agreement.

America is deeply suspicious of Iranian activity in the Middle East and two of Iran's enemies are co-ally of Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Who are the winners and losers?
Mr Trump said, "If they want to meet, we'll meet."

President Rouhani's adviser Hamid Aralebi tweeted in response to Mr Trump that "returning to the nuclear agreement" and "respecting the rights of the Iranian nation" will pave the way for talks.

Before the Iranian Revolution of 1979, such a meeting would be the first among America and Iranian leaders.

A sudden change in Mr. Trump's voice took part in his meeting with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which was another diplomat, the first of which was done by both the leaders after insulting and trading threats.
Soon after, State Secretary Mike Pompeo said that if Iran showed that he was ready to change his behavior, then he would support a meeting.

They told CNBC, "The President wants to meet people to deal with the problems".

Trump's Confidence Confidence

I was sitting in the eastern chamber when Mr. Trump said that he would be happy to meet Mr. Rouhani, and I was not nearly surprised.

Most people will be cautious about such a meeting, especially if they have joined a word-war like Mr. Trump.

But by seeing Mr Trump in the last two years, I know that he is confident in his capabilities as a negotiator and he believes that people respond well to their ambition.

He wrote in the 1987 book The Art of the Deal, "People can not always think themselves big." "But they can still be very excited by those who do."

His other meetings with the controversial leaders can be problematic. But it has not stopped it from trying again.

Last week, Mr. Trump responded to Mr. Rouhani in anger, who had earlier warned of the outcome of the conflict with his country.

Mr. Trump tweeted in the capitals that if the US threatened, then Iran would have to suffer the consequences of "would like to suffer some parts of the entire history".

Mr. Rouhani told Iranian diplomats: "America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and the war with Iran is the mother of all wars."

In May, Mr. Pompeo presented 12 conditions for any "new deal" with Iran, including the withdrawal of its forces from Syria and the end of the support of rebels in Yemen.

What is disagreement with America and Iran?

Mr. Trump has consistently opposed the 2015 Nuclear Agreement, in which the US released billions of dollars in frozen property in exchange for sanctions on Iran's nuclear program.
The Trump Administration considered Iran as an unstable force in the Middle East, debating the nuclear deal, Iran was able to pursue a more determined regional policy. Iran has sent hundreds of soldiers and thousands of volunteers to Syria in militia, and strengthened its military presence there.

Gulf states have accused Iran of Yemen's rebels of supporting money and arms, although Iran has denied it. Saudi Arabia, a prominent American ally, is a major opposition to Iran and repeatedly warns Iran's intentions

Why did the US remove the nuclear deal?
In May, Mr. Trump called the Nuclear Agreement - or Joint Comprehensive Plan (JCPOA) - a "terrible, one-way deal".

He alleged that this agreement did not limit Iran's "unstable activities" in this area.

Analysts also mentioned the impact of the White House Iran, including the trend of targeting Mr. Pompe and National Security Advisor John Bolton and the predecessor of White Trump, Barack Obama's major policies.

Iran insists that the nuclear program is completely peaceful, and the compliance of this agreement has been verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which states that Iran is respecting its commitments.

What is the nuclear deal?
Pain for some of Europe's biggest companies

Is Iran's economy better under this deal?
Iran is one of the world's largest oil producers, with billions of dollars of exports every year. It is already feeling the economic pressure, and at a rising price, large scale protests and its currency, the value of Riyal has been seen in decline.
