Chekka Chivantha Vaanam trailer: Mani Ratnam promises a pulsating gangster drama
Chekka Chivanta Wanam Trailer: Money Ratnam has returned to this gangster drama style with the film long afterwards. The film includes Prakash Raj, Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hadi, Jyothika.
The National Awardee-winning director Mani Ratnam's highly anticipated film, Chekka Chivanta Vaanam (The Nawab in Telugu) trailer on Saturday unveiled the musician AR Rahman, who made music for the upcoming multi-artist. Deciding on the trailer, the story revolves around the family's dispute arising out of the power and authority's will.
Senapati (Prakash Raj) is the head of a crime syndicate. His eldest son, Vardan (Arvind Swamy) has already managed to handle family business and is in line to be successful for his father. But there is a problem. His younger brother, Thyagu and Ethi (played by Arun Vijay and Simbu respectively) are ambitious and want to leave them behind.
In the film, Jyothika Varadan's wife and Aditi Rao Hydari is his mistress. Aishwarya plays the love interests of Rajesh Thuagu. Thiagarajan and Jayasudha are also part of this group. We are also offered to the Prophet, who is played by Vijay Sattupati. It seems that he is playing a corrupt police that promotes the ambition of taking power in the gangster's world.
Kamal Haasan's classic Nayakan and Rajinikanth's Thalapathi Ratnam's portfolio contains two films which were set in the underworld backdrop. Ratnam has returned to gangster-style after a very long time.
If the trailer is anything to go by, then Chekka Chivanta Varma will be a vibratory gangster drama.
