Umar Khalid claims he was attacked, Delhi Police checking if shots were fired at Constitution Club

Student leader of JNU, Umar Khalid, reached the club to participate in a program called "Freedom from Fame".

Umar Khalid, student leader of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), claimed that unknown men had attacked him and he had told Shots. On Monday, there was confusion in Rafi Marg in the National Capital on the Constitution Club of India.

Khalid was on the club to participate in a program called "Freedom from Fear" organized by an organization called United Against Hat. The news agency ANI cited Delhi Police DCP Madhur Verma as saying that Khalid's claims are being confirmed.

"I was taking tea with some friends at the stalls outside the Constitution Club when a heavy man came from behind and grabbed his neck with his arms.

I saw that he had a gun in his hand so I tried to catch my hand I was scared because he was trying to shoot me, he gave me strength and threw me on the ground, he hit me.

When my friends tried to fight him back, he Ark was throwing shot and ran. I heard a shot in the distance. Khalid told, "The gun was definitely out of."

Police said they are confirming the claim of the student leader.

Khalid later told PTI, "There is an atmosphere of fear in the country, and anyone who speaks against the government is threatened."

According to Ashish Pandey, when the incident took place, there was a tea shop, "Khalid was returning to the Constitution club with three friends after tea.

When they reached the gate, a man faced Khalid, resulting in a nervousness.

Two friends intervened and started shouting for a help, managed to escape the attack and started running.When he reached the INS Bhavan, he slipped and his gun went off.
